Ramblings
I'm always amazed at how fast a year goes by. Here are some of my thoughts of the moment. I've learned that people are so busy in December that they may in fact, fail to read my Notes.
This year I've had the opportunity to write on ten topics related to Attention Deficit Disorder. Each idea was brought about by a question or event in my office. I then developed the topic not only for my patients but also because I thought they might be of general interest to all patients and professionals interested in ADD.
I'm working on several ideas for the months ahead. Of interest is the question of how a young child with the symptoms of ADD should be followed, and when it is time for a parent to act. Another has to do with spotting the ADD sibling. Organizational skills in ADD adults always bear talking about. There is also the problem of the child or adult with ADD who does not respond to or cannot tolerate medication.
These are a few of my current ideas. Thank you for your support. I'm always glad to have suggestions about the NewsNotes or ideas for articles.

I'd like to thank CACLD for its support of my work and of those with ADD or LD. They have the best bookstore in the area and excellent meetings throughout the year. Take a look at their website at www.cacld.org.
And have a happy and health holiday season. I'll be back with a new article and hopefully a new format in January.
