RECOMMENDED LINKS

www.cacld.org The Connecticut Association of Children with Learning Disabilities is “a regional non profit organization that supports individuals families and professionals by providing information, education and consultation while promoting public awareness and understanding” (Their mission statement). It is an excellent organization that I highly recommend.

www.ricklavoie.com Rick Lavoie is a well known speaker on the subject of Learning Disabilities. He has the ability to shed light on a difficult subject. There is excellent material on his site.

www.HealthCalls.com This is the site of Marc Schwartz, M.D. Dr. Schwartz is interested in ADD in adults and his site contains a great deal of information including a check list.

www.chadd.org CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a major national organization whose focus is Attention Deficit Disorder. They sponsor a major conference and have a bi-monthly magazine.

www.cabf.org The Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation is a parent led group primarily for families with children diagnosed with or at risk for bipolar disorder. They have excellent information on their site that would be of interest to anyone looking for information on the subject.

www.ldanatl.org The Learning Disability Association of America is a major organization with information, memberships, a conference and a journal. Its focus is LD and not ADD, but if it is LD you are looking into, this is a good site.

www.adaa.org The Anxiety Disorders Association of America is a national group that is a source of information about anxiety disorders. They have a well organized site that breaks down anxiety into the various diagnostic categories. You can then click on your specific interest.

I hope that you check out some of these links, and that they can be of use to you.
